Azores and crossing Atlantic Ocean for a 14 days sailing course. The opportunity to discover a bit of the Archipelago Azores followed by offshore sailing across the North Atlantic for about 1500 nautical miles to South Brittany. Experience offshore sailing onboard one of our crewed Challenge 67.
Discover Faial and Pico islands
The idea for this sailing course is to combine visiting a wonderful destination, the Azores and offshore sailing experience with a half Atlantic crossing. Located at the latitude of Lisboa, the nine islands of the Portuguese Archipelago are volcanic origin. Their northern position and ocean climate give a lush vegetation and marine wildlife such as sperm whales, beaked whales and dolphins. With its 2351 meters, the Ponta do Pico volcano is the peak of the Azores.
